Zac Burke brought his magic to Belle Isle last night and took home the win in Round 4 of the Ricmotech Classic Sprint Series driving the GB Consulting Inc. Mazda MX-5 Cup car.
Zac, with teammate Mitchell Peake, had a substantial lead over their competitors in the first half of the race. After suffering an unforeseen incident during his pit stop, Peake was forced to drop back for an eventual fifth-place finish.
This left Zac to work his magic by himself, holding off Elvis Rankin who was determined to catch Zac. Elvis was pushing so hard that he ran out of fuel on the last lap, giving up the second position to John Allen.
The Team eSport Racer crew are beyond proud of our teammate Zac’s first win in his first year competing in the series.
This is Team eSport Racer’s first overall win in an Xtrememotorsports series. We are confident it is the first of many.
